Abstract:The liquid metal is a new material that breaks the barriers between ordinary fluids and conventional metals. It is able to implementa flexible and conformal electronic circuits on the surfaces of multiple materials and stuffs. Thus it benefits a lot in the fields of IoT (Internet of Things) and FPC (Flexible Printed Circuits). The additive manufacturing of liquid metal skips photoetching and chemical etching in the traditional PCB fabrication. It impoves the efficiency, and meanwhile the waste water discharge reduces from 0.7t to 0 per square meter. The liquid metal circuit is highly foldable, which leads to much better user experiences in the applications of flexible displays and wearable devices. It is even possible to print circuits directly on epidermal surface to form electronic skins or tattoos with health related functions. Thus it is rather perceivable, that with its unique merits, the technology of liquid metal printed circuits is capable to replace and upgrade some of the conventional techniques and products in the printed electronic field. It will also open unprecedented areas for noval requirements and huge market increments.

工业级液态金属柔性印刷电路技术

摘要:液态金属打破了一般流体与传统金属两种材料的壁垒,可以在各种材质、物品表面制作 出柔性及共形电路,从而在物联网和天线软板领域产生巨大价值。液态金属增材制造的方式大 幅减省传统基于光刻和化学腐蚀的电路制程,效率提升的同时,废水排放从每平米 0.7 吨以上 降为 0;液态金属电路具有更高的可弯折性,也将使柔性显示、穿戴设备等的性能和体验提升到 一个全新的高度。借助其快速制造和柔性电路的优势,与穿戴设备、智能服装结合,乃至将电 路直接印制于皮肤表面,形成具有一定健康相关功能的电子皮肤或电子文身。由此可见,液态 金属印刷电子技术不仅能够凭借自身优势取代或部分替代现有技术和产品,还将在诸多领域打开前所未有需求空间,创造出更加巨大的市场增量。
