EXTENDED ABSTRACT: Traditional new material discovery features long-term research and low success rates. The key solution is to make scientific hypotheses more accurate and reduce experimental trials and errors. We aim to shift the paradigm of chemical and material research by generating massive experimental data using robotics and build AI models. We have built the world's largest robotic lab, which consists of more than 200 robots and currently conducts 30,000 reactions per month, collecting millions of data. A large number of negative data are generated, and the models established are superior to humans in predicting experimental failures. The model has been validated in more than 10 projects with success rate of over 90%.Based upon our internal successful practices, we are currently expanding the "AI + Robotics" solution to various fields of new material discovery, including catalysts, ceramics, polymers, lithium batteries, perovskites, etc. We collaborate extensively with both industry and academia to build robotic laboratories and accelerate the research and development of new materials.
